Pm welcomes world youth day cross-Canada event to Victoria

Vancouver City Council passed an ordinance Tuesday to support the youth cross-Canada event, called CYC, and support youth programming.

The motion, first reported by the VPD Community and Wellness program and passed unanimously in a 2-1 vote, would encourage local partners to support youth cross-Canada programming by funding a multi-agency youth program, youth education, and an after-school youth programming program for children from a single high-needs location.
