The victims are from the nearby area of the village and have been identified as Aizaz Begum and Mohammad, respectively aged 32 and 34.
Aizaz's body has been transported to a hospital nearby.
The family say they fear the accident is part of a larger conspiracy, which may have resulted in the killing of the two young men, who had planned to visit their father, to prevent him from taking up the Islamic faith.
The investigation is on-going.
The police are monitoring all calls to the village and enquiries are ongoing to learn how the incident unfolded.
A police official said: "We have received a number of phone calls today as families of the deceased have spoken to the news media, and many of them are urging those in power to protect their integrity.
"All enquiries in this investigation will be conducted and conducted within the existing criminal law for police to carry out.
"I can assure you, nothing has been tampered with in connection with the investigation."
On the Facebook page for the Mughal Princess School, which had been closed during this week's tragedy, a post written by a teacher, wrote: "If anyone has seen anything suspicious about the school during the last couple of days, we have no idea. We have been called to the school during the day but do not know what was going on at the moment."
The incident has also caused panic in the nearby Muslim area, where some have urged residents to stop the school closures and "protest the school being shut".
A Facebook page, Aruf-e-Sakhar, with the name of the girl, which has more than 18,000 likes, has been set up in which people have shared photographs and pictures of the injured girls.
It says: "The school was shut due to 'disgruntled' parents who objected to the closing of the school because of the ongoing scandal. They came with a petition to the local council demanding closure, the school was shut due to parents with a grievance against the school.
"This has made them even angry at the state administration who have never shown any intention to make a proper inquiry into this incident, instead they are just looking for excuses and excuses to close down the school and get rid of the accused who are still there."

The Northern Territory's transport minister says he has received a confidential report on potential congestion pricing from the federal government, and is assessing the scheme.

It would give drivers in the northern Australian territory an option to pay higher prices to access roads, as opposed to paying as little as $0.
A draft of the proposed price for congestion-related road congestion is expected to be submitted to federal transport minister Chris Bowen and Transport Minister Darren Chester in the coming days.
"We'll be looking at that report. How it affects transport, how it impacts traffic flow, how it affects all those issues," Transport Minister Darren Chester told the ABC's AM program.
In January, the Northern Territory Government announced it was opening a study into traffic calming.
The proposal was described in the government's submission as one that would have a "substantial impact".
State Roads Minister John Swinney says the plan is likely to be the subject of an investigation by state transport ministers and a report could be sent in June.

He says the plan would "unilaterally" charge motorists to travel to parts of the northern state.
"The people are getting their pay cheques and some of them are just putting up with the pain in a sense," Mr Thorson said.
"But to start charging them to get a vehicle into the Northern Territory would probably have a pretty significant effect and you can't keep that going, so that's certainly something the state and the federal government should consider and see how that comes out."
'It makes sense'
Road safety activist Bill Johnson says it may be a good idea to introduce tolls.
"I think it makes sense because the roads are already very congested, that there's no need for another toll," Mr Johnson said.
"We've had the Northern Territory Government, it would just be a matter of time, before tolls were introduced, and that's what the Northern Territory Government wants, is the people to drive as often as they can drive."
